VMDiaz and Partners

The law firm of VMDiaz and Partners came to the team looking for a turn-key solution to redesign their office space so that it would reflect their new identity and brand personality: Intelligent. Innovative. Inspiring.  It was also mandatory that the new design be conducive to teamwork and support a collective work ethic. The first change was to create a new logo - a collaboration of Owner, graphic designer, and architect - that welcomes visitors to the transformed entryway, beyond which lies a full view of the conference room. A dark partition anchors the reception area, conference room, and hallway. The office’s main corridor runs end-to-end, acting as a spine that provides a seamless sense of cohesiveness. The attorneys' private offices are aligned between the spine and an exterior wall of windows that invite in just the right amount of Miami Beach sunlight. Tall frameless glass doors allow views into the offices and let daylight filter through. The copy room and kitchen share a spacious area that opens to the terrace and conference room, creating flexibility of use, ranging from collaborative work sessions to social events. The highly customized millwork in these areas provides maximum efficiency, while complementing the color palette and design aesthetic of the office throughout.
